Panacea Chairman Stuart Colligon and Business Development Manager Sam Tipper attended the 2017 Worldwide Conference for Pharmaceutical Ingredients (CPhI) in Frankfurt this year. The pre-conference build-up promised the biggest and liveliest event in CPhI history and it didn’t disappoint!
Panacea attends the annual conference, as it provides a unique opportunity to get a detailed understanding of the latest industry developments, and market news via a number of seminars and briefings. CPhI also plays an important role in helping Panacea to continue on its strategic growth curve, as the show acts as a perfect platform to meet with both current and new clients in the same location.
Alongside the networking opportunities, this year’s show highlights included a state-of-the-art Formula 1 simulator, positioned on an exhibitor’s stand and the 2017 Global Generics & Biosimilar Awards held at the Frankfurt Marriott hotel. This year’s awards saw Panacea continue its 4-year partnership with the prestigious Global Generics & Biosimilar Awards, by sponsoring the ‘Company of the Year EMEA’ category. Competition for the award was fierce, with nominees including; Medis, Sandoz, Hikma & Alvogen. The overall award winners were Medis, who were presented with their trophy on the night by Stuart Colligon.
Next year’s CPhI will be held in IFEMA Madrid and with attendance figures expected to continue growing from this year’s 45,000, it is sure to be an event that will not be missed by many in the pharma sector.
