It was fantastic to see the efforts of the island’s students come together at the final exhibition of the Junior Achievement Isle of Man Young Enterprise programme this week. Students from schools all over the island have worked over the past seven months to set up their own business, and what a success it has been! Such a huge variety of business ideas, which were all executed to a very high standard.

An especially big congratulations to Gravity, who have been selling eco-friendly toothbrushes (the Bambrush) and biodegradable cotton buds (Bambuds). They have not only set up a successful business, they have also been making a difference and helping to protect our planet from harmful plastic waste, even becoming a partner of Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man!
